API development and integration for connected systems

When your systems don't talk to each other, people end up copying data by hand. Our API development and integration work connects your apps, websites and business tools so information moves on its own and stays accurate.

At a glance

  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Integrations with Xero, MYOB, Shopify, Salesforce and HubSpot
  • Webhooks and real-time sync
  • Clear documentation and versioning

What is API development?

API development is building the connection points that let different software systems share data and trigger actions. An API (application programming interface) defines what one system can ask another for, and how. API integration means using those connections to link your tools together.

Services

What we connect and build

From a single integration to a full public API, every build is tested and documented.

Custom APIs

Secure REST APIs or GraphQL APIs for your app, platform or partners.

Third-party integrations

Connect accounting, CRM, online store, payment and shipping platforms.

Payment gateways

Stripe, PayPal, Square and other gateways, set up properly.

Webhooks and automation

Trigger actions the moment something changes in another system.

Legacy system integration

Connect older software that has no modern API.

Documentation and testing

OpenAPI docs, automated tests and monitoring so integrations stay reliable.

Is it right for you?

Common integrations we build

  • Online store orders flowing straight into Xero or MYOB
  • Website enquiries creating leads in HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Booking systems syncing with calendars and SMS reminders
  • Stock levels matching across your warehouse, shop and website

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

Ask your own →
What is an API integration?
It's a connection between two or more systems through their APIs, so data moves between them automatically. For example, a new Shopify order can create an invoice in Xero without anyone typing it in.
How much does API development cost?
It depends on your requirements: how many systems are involved, how complex the data is and how well the existing APIs are documented. After a free discovery call you receive an itemised proposal.
Can you connect software that doesn't have an API?
Often, yes. We can work with database connections or file exports, or build a small API layer on top of the older system.
Are integrations secure?
Yes. We use encrypted connections, OAuth or scoped API keys, give each integration only the access it needs, and log activity.
What happens if a system changes its API?
We version our own APIs, monitor third-party changes and update integrations as part of ongoing support.
Should I use Zapier or a custom integration?
Zapier and Make are fine for simple, low-volume tasks. A custom integration is better for complex logic, large volumes, or when reliability really matters.
