Blockchain development for smart contracts and Web3 apps

Blockchain suits some problems and not others, and we'll tell you honestly which one yours is. When it's the right fit, our blockchain development team builds smart contracts, tokens and decentralised apps with security reviews built in.

At a glance

  • Smart contracts in Solidity and Rust
  • Ethereum, Polygon and Solana
  • Tokens, NFTs and wallet integration
  • Security reviews before deployment

What is blockchain development?

Blockchain development is building applications that record data on a shared, tamper-resistant ledger instead of one company's database. Most projects involve smart contracts, which are programs that run on a blockchain and carry out agreements automatically, plus a web or mobile app (a dApp) that people use to interact with them.

Services

What we build

Every contract we write is tested thoroughly and written to be easy to audit.

Smart contract development

Solidity or Rust contracts for payments, escrow, voting and more.

Token development

Fungible tokens, NFTs and loyalty or membership tokens.

Decentralised apps (dApps)

Web and mobile front ends connected to wallets and smart contracts.

Smart contract reviews

Code reviews that look for vulnerabilities before you deploy.

Supply chain traceability

Shared records for provenance, certification and compliance.

Wallet and payment integration

MetaMask, WalletConnect and crypto payment options in existing apps.

Is it right for you?

Where blockchain is a good fit

  • Several organisations need to share records that none of them fully controls
  • Product origin or certification has to be provable later
  • You want digital assets, memberships or rewards that customers truly own
  • Agreements should run automatically when set conditions are met

Compare

Blockchain vs a traditional database

For most business apps a normal database is the better choice. Blockchain wins in a few specific cases.

Why Kedra Digi

Why work with us

One in-house team

Designers, developers and testers work together in-house. Your project is never passed to a subcontractor.

A clear proposal first

Before any work starts you get an itemised proposal that explains what we'll build and how.

You own everything

Source code, designs, documentation and accounts are handed over to you. There's no lock-in.

Support after launch

We monitor, maintain and improve what we build for as long as you need us.

Kedra Digi is an Australian-owned software development company. See our recent projects.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the questions we hear most.

Ask your own →
Do I actually need a blockchain?
Only if several parties need a shared record that nobody controls on their own, or you're creating digital assets. Otherwise a normal database is faster and simpler, and we'll say so.
How much does blockchain development cost?
It depends on your requirements: how complex the contracts are, which chains you use, the app features and the level of review needed. After a free discovery call you get an itemised proposal.
Which blockchain should we build on?
Ethereum offers strong security and the largest ecosystem. Polygon and Arbitrum have lower fees, and Solana handles high volumes. We recommend one based on your users, fees and tooling.
How do you keep smart contracts secure?
We use well-tested libraries such as OpenZeppelin, write automated tests, review code internally, and recommend an independent audit for contracts that will hold significant value.
Can blockchain connect to our existing systems?
Yes. We link smart contracts to your apps and databases through APIs and oracles.
Are there legal issues with launching a token?
There can be. Some tokens may be treated as financial products, so get legal advice before launch. We take care of the technical side.
